from 1876 reviewsBetween my wife and me, we’ve somehow managed to collect nearly one of every piece they make—and for good reason. Their outerwear strikes that rare balance between performance and everyday polish. Whether we’re braving the unpredictable weather of the Whites on a long hike or simply heading out to run errands around town, their gear delivers comfort, durability, and thoughtful design in equal measure. Every piece feels purpose-built yet versatile, crafted with a level of quality that’s increasingly hard to find. I can wholeheartedly recommend any—and all—of their outerwear without hesitation.
Out in -10 in northern Maine this morning. Over 1 pair of wool base layers, plenty warm enough. Splitboard session in the PM - holding up to anything I put them through. If I could ask for one thing, it would be a little wider at the leg cuff as my snowboard boots have a double boa system and it's a snug fit to get them over the boots for splitboarding. Any chance I could talk you into a zip drop bottom for girl pee breaks? If I choose to wear my other pants, that would be the only reason why in the backcountry. Love, love, love they are new england made.
Absolutely love my AD90. It feels warm the way down/wool does but super soft and schnuggly. When you move, you actually feel the air moving through it. Has instantly become a favorite for me and I’ve ordered another!
My boyfriend is very selective and hard to buy gifts for - but I loved how soft this fabric was and the promise of it being a high tech fabric lured me in. He is a ski instructor and reported back that the shirt kept him warm and dry - and now won’t ski without it. Time to use my 15% off coupon and get him another color - thank you for creating these fabulous outdoor cloths!
Campfire Fleece Vest - Men's
Love it! So lightweight and comfortable.
Highly recommended. 🙂
Tried 2 other styles of Burgeon hoodies, could not find the correct fit until the Highlander. The waffle design is lightweight yet warm. The alpine lake color pops. Took a XL, which has a looser, but not baggy, fit. For reference I am 6 foot, 220 pounds.
Also a shout out to Nick in their customer service area, who patiently explained the benefits of each hoodie type. His attentive brand of service is sorely lacking in most companies I deal with. Very refreshing to see good service is still a priority with some companies.
I really like this vest. Can’t wait to hike in it soon!
I was finally able to try the Huntington Hardshell on Sunday at Black Mountain in NH. Temps were predicated to be in mid 20's with winds of 15mph. The feels like temp was showing 4°. I layered with Burgeon underlayment and a light puffy vest. I was very comfortable and warm till lunchtime and then removed the underlayment for comparison. Definitely could feel the less layering, but still was very comfortable. The jacket moved with me and provided a great wind buffer. I am looking forward to seeing how it does when I get some wet weather for comparison. Overall, I am very happy with this Jacket. I also have the Tuckerman pants to pair with the jacket. They make a great combo for skiing.
Awesome Product, I hope it lasts for years.
Just what I was looking for
Warmer than my alpha 90 with similar breathability
My son watches all sorts of YouTube videos on camping (he's a scout) and had to have one of these after I got one for his older brother. This one is a keeper, really solid and for me, made in the USA is a huge plus (even if it is New Hampshire ;-)
This has become my go to base layer wear it all the time it’s my third purchase from Burgeon all awesome beat outdoor stuff I have bought
Excellent garment — warm, full-zip, grid-fleece hoody at less than 10 oz. The fabric has give but isn't a stretchy weave so sizing up was good advice ... TY. I do wish it had elastic hems so I added KAM snaps to the cuffs and mini cord-locks and pulls to the draw strings on the hood. Size L is a good, regular fit for 5'10" at 175 lb.
Love it! Very warm for only weighing ~5 oz. I wish it had thumb holes. 😉
