We maintain three (Old Bridle Path, Pine Link, Willey Range) trails in the White Mountains in partnership with the Appalachian Mountain Club. In the past year, we have also donated time, resources, and money to organizations such as New England Disabled Sports, Pemi Search and Rescue, Lakes Region Search and Rescue, the Linwood Rotary, Linwood Ambulance, as well as local community centers in Lincoln, Franconia, and Lisbon, NH.

Love this hoodie layer!! Been using it for the past few months while out on cooler hikes and sunset rock scrambles and it's been a great addition to my hiking attire since it provides warmth, yet still is breathable. Love the green, but am eyeing the plum color for next time 👀 followed the recommendation to size up and the Large size is perfect! I'm a medium in pretty much most tops. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a great mid fleece layer! Love Burgeon and looking forward to trying more of their products 🤙
Love this layer for hiking. It’s super light weight and comfortable. I was happy the description indicated to size up because it runs small.
I purchased my Highlander hoodie back in 2021. I got it when I still lived in NH and used it for hiking/camping/skiing/xc skiing. Fast forward a few years: I now live in western Colorado for work and I still wear it almost every weekend when I'm out fly fishing. It dries relatively quickly which is a nice feature since my cuffs get wet a lot. The hoodie still looks great and does not look like I've been wearing it for almost 3 years. I've washed it countless times and always air dried it. I've gotten many compliments on it and have been asked what brand it is because it is not recognizable to most people out here. Proud to rep a company from my home state. For reference, I'm 5'5" about 145lb with a larger chest and I have a medium. I typically wear a long-sleeved base layer underneath and it is not tight.

This hoodie has followed me from overnights on the Cohos trail to a long weekend in Colorado playing around in the high peaks. It has been a great middle layer keeping me warm. I love the soft fabric, color and fit. Has become a favorite in my hiking bag.
I received my Highlander Hoodie just in time for me to test it on the summit of Mt Adams! It kept me warm and cozy in the fog and wind. The color, fabric and fit are great! I am 5'5" and 155 lbs. and I sized up to a large to wear over a base layer and it's perfect. I look forward to purchasing more items from Burgeon!

After a few months of waiting, I am finally the proud owner of a black Highlander hoodie! I'm normally a L/XL, so I initially ordered the XL. This hoodie has a closer fit than I expected, so I called to see if I could swap for the XXL for easier layering and less worry when washing frequently. Even though it was late afternoon on a Friday, Burgeon answered immediately, and they couldn't have been nicer! I had my replacement by Monday, with a return label to make sending back the XL super easy! The XXL hoodie is perfect! The material is super cozy, very lightweight, and you can see how breathable the grid fleece is when you hold it up to the light. I like that the hood is roomy, but you can snap and cinch it tight to the face for chilly days on the trail. I know this is going to be a staple in my pack from now on! I can't wait to visit the Burgeon store when I visit at the end of the month! A Sunseeker Hoodie is next on my list!

This hoodie is absolutely my favorite piece for mid layer and comfort! It performs, fits, and feels amazing. It regulates my body temp, and washed beautifully in cold water with a low tumble dry. I’m so impressed with this piece; I’ll definitely be back for more. :)

The highlander hoodie was one of my first Burgeon purchases last year. It is such a pretty color and so very soft. It is great as as outer layer in the warmer months if you get cool or as part of a layering system in the cooler parts of the year. I love the red color of the hoodie I purchased. I would purchase again and possibly in other colors. I highly recommend this well made product.
Love this hoodie! I'm crazy about this style of fleece and I've been super impressed with the warmth to weight ratio of the highlander! Recently swapped out my puffy for this on my last thru-hike and was never once too cold even when temperatures dropped into the upper 30's on Franconia Ridge and there was a constant wind. Also a fan of the sleeves being a little more tapered/snug in the forearms than some other styles I own. Should also mention I slept in this nearly every night with the hood up, great versatile piece for warmth on the mountain and at camp. I'm 5'6, 150 lbs and the women's medium fit perfect on it's own or over my hiking shirt

I have been eyeballing this hoodie for a couple years and finally got one. The description says this item runs small and they aren’t lying. I am 5’11, my size is typically a Large, sometimes a medium, so I went up to an XL thinking it would be a fit that still had some movement - it doesn’t. I should have gone to an XXL but I kept it anyway. The material is scratchy, esp around the seams so you can’t wear it with a tank or short sleeve under (maybe you can but not me). A little unimpressed but it does its job of keeping me warm without the bulk.
My purple Highlander hoodie is one of my favorite items to wear . Whether I’m sitting at home , running errands or visiting with friends it’s cozy and just the right weight to not feel to heavy under a winter coat or paired with a vest .

I have purchased 2 for myself, 1 for each of my children, and 1 for my girlfriend. I wear my Highlander everywhere and never leave my house without one. Honestly, one of the best backpacking hoodies out there. Light, packs, and dries quickly.
I have an orange one from a couple years ago and I saw this in a new purple when I recently visited…. no hesitation to get it. I love layering it under sweaters and the hood/hood string are fun accents. I wear a women’s fit and size up
Bought in person while on hiking trip to NH. Staff was super helpful. Love the material and workmanship. Did have to size up to a womens large ( usually wear a medium). Ended up buying three for gifts.
I have ordered several items from Burgeon and this hoodie was the item that first caught my attention . The color and size was out of stock and when it became available I ordered right away. As with the other purchases it did not disappoint. I like the that’s it’s a bit fitted but able to put a long sleeve layer underneath without it feeling tight. Wore it recently Kayaking to view the strawberry full moon, and biking around the lake. Would definitely recommend this hoodie!
