The material is excellent quality while being comfortable, durable and stylish. The texture is more like a fine sweater garment. The fit is roomy but not baggy with room for easy movement. Customer service is exemplary.

I absolutely love this Hoodie! It's my new favorite! I'm 5'7 -125 lbs, and the L fits me perfectly! It's super soft, and I love sporting my home state of New Hampshire & AMC while living in Washington! The texture is super soft and very warm, and the green is a beautiful "kelly green." :) I will definitely be supporting Burgeon again! I look forward to checking out the store in person on my next visit home to the Granite State.

Took it backpacking on a section of the AT and ended up wearing it mostly at camp, but was a great extra layer to sit around the fire with. Much warmer than you'd think and I got a few comments on how nice it was. Great addition to my pack. I also wear it hanging around the house most days, perfect for keeping the heat down a few degrees, saving $$. I agree with everyone else, size up.

The best hoodie I have owned. Lightweight and so warm. I hate having to wash it. The fit is great. Will be buying more.

I'm normally a medium but sized up to a large as recommended by Burgeon. After trying it on the Highlander Hoodie fit just right and I like the way it looks. I chose the full zip style for ease on putting it on and taking it off. I bought this hoodie to use primarily as part of my layering system while backpacking and chose the lemon yellow for high visibility so I'm easy to spot while hiking with friends.

I was looking for a less bulky alternative to my puffer jacket when ski touring and for mild resort days when it’s not polar vortex weather. This hoodie fit the bill and more. Looks great, super comfortable, and it is surprisingly warm for how thin the gridded fleece material is. A+ product at a reasonable price.

I recently stumbled upon the Burgeon shop & studio in Lincoln, NH. I was so impressed with their designs and that all their apparel is produced locally. I ordered the Hearthside Cowl Neck Fleece and never want to take it off. The material is so soft and light weight, yet still plenty warm. I also appreciate the styling which includes a comfortable cowl neck, roomy raglan sleeve, and tapered waist. A versatile piece whether you are headed out for a hike or just nesting at home!

I’ve had this hoodie a couple weeks now and absolutely love it! So soft and cozy especially if you don’t want to wear something super heavy. Definitely will make another purchase in the future.

… My husband loves your Power Wool Beanie. He first wore it during a snow storm with high winds, and the beanie kept his noggin warm and dry. I ordered a second one in a different color.

Love this piece - it’s my new favorite fleece layer! I’ve used this as a layer in the frigid temps NE has had this winter. It’s also great on its own in ‘regular cold’ temps once you get moving. And POCKETS! The best! It’s fitted so be mindful when ordering a size.

I love my Burgeon Highlander hoodies, but when I saw one with the AMC logo, I had to add it to my collection. Proud Burgeon customer for 4 years, proud AMC member for 12!
