This soft and cozy hoodie will keep you warm on the trails and look good in town as well.  Made of Polartec® Microfleece fabric, this hoodie will ensconce you in comfort and warmth.  The material has a distinctive and stylish waffle pattern to give the product additional depth as well as color contrast. 

Our Pemi Hoodie is made exclusively from 'deadstock' materials.  These are first-quality materials that were in excess due to overproduction or canceled orders. This allows us to create one of the most sustainable hoodies possible - and yes, the material is also recycled!

Our Pemi Hoodie is handsewn in New Hampshire.  US domestic production ensures compliance with high environmental standards, a cleaner electrical grid, more efficient transportation infrastructure, as well as reducing the overall distance (and carbon footprint required) to move through a global supply chain. 

The Pemi Hoodie is made exclusively from first-quality deadstock materials.  These materials were purchased from canceled orders of other Polartec customers.  The material is made of 100% recycled polyester, so it is a sustainability two-fer!

Worker Standards:The Pemi Hoodie is handstitched by the Burgeon production team in both Lincoln and Gorham, New Hampshire.  Burgeon follows all federal, state, and local laws and regulations that protect our employees.  Burgeon production team members also enjoy flexible working hours, paid time off (vacation, sick, safe), and all ten federal holidays.  Burgeon covers 100% of healthcare premiums for all employees who average 30+ hours per week.  All Burgeon production team members are eligible for a monthly bonus based on our sales.  5% of the sales of the Pemi Hoodie go directly into this bonus pool.
5% for our Community and Environment

5% of the purchase price of this product will benefit our community and environmental efforts.  These efforts include trail maintenance, working with local non-profits and organizations, as well as our carbon mitigation efforts.

We maintain three (Old Bridle Path, Pine Link, Willey Range) trails in the White Mountains in partnership with the Appalachian Mountain Club. In the past year, we have also donated time, resources, and money to organizations such as New England Disabled Sports, Pemi Search and Rescue, Lakes Region Search and Rescue, the Linwood Rotary, Linwood Ambulance, as well as local community centers in Lincoln, Franconia, and Lisbon, NH.

Shipping on orders $100+ is free for continental US addresses. For orders less than $100 or to non-continental US locations, we charge $7.50 for shipping.

Best mid-layer I own

I bought this mid-layer for a snowboarding trip to Killington when temps were expected to be around 11 degrees F with an active snowstorm. Not only did it look great (the build quality is amazing!) but it layered well with my wool base layer and snowboard jacket. I was comfortable just with those layers all day and that's saying something because my snowboard jacket is only lightly insulated to allow freedom of movement. I was warm and never cold but didn't end the day as a sweaty mess. The Pemi is a perfect mid-layer and will probably be my favorite outer layer for shoulder season hiking! Sizing is accurate. I like more form-fitting clothes (not too tight though) and the medium fit me with some room to move while not looking like wearing a potato sack. Sleeve length and torso length were perfect (5' 10" & 180 lbs, for reference).

I should also note that Burgeon's customer service is incredible. I forgot to check expedited shipping at checkout. I emailed and they upgraded my shipping at no cost so that I'd have this in time for my trip. Wonderful people!

Best Camp Companion

Just got the Pemi last week and immediately brought it on a camping trip. I don't think I took it off the entire 3 days I was out there. Just enough warmth without overheating, and just lightweight enough so it doesn't feel bulky. Polartec fleece is legit the best. The button on the hood is very unique and makes it easy to switch to cozy mode. I can already tell it'll be my go-to fall hoodie.

Great hoodie. Lightweight and comfortable. I did have 2 issues. 1. the sleeves are shorter than I think they should be. I think they could add 1 or 2". 2. Some threads were loose. Not dealbreakers. Great hoodie overall

The only complaint I have is that the arms seem a tad short but otherwise the fit is good! I did not size up, I like a more fitted product and this delivers. I will probably be getting one for my wife soon as well!

Great Light Winter Hoodie

Purchased this hoodie last week. It's more of a lighter weight Highlander Hoodie. The material is soft and warm. This could also be a great base or mid-layer. The fit was true to size. I especially like the neck snap feature that makes the Pemi Hoodie unique. Very functional and also looks great.

Highlander Hoodie but Greener

Everything you love about the Highlander Hoodie but made with deadstock materials. It's not as "lofty" as the new Highlander but it's still very soft and comfortable. Fit feels true to size. Waffle patterns traps in heat. It's honestly the perfect mid-layer and essential for any trip into the Alpine Zone. Made in the mountains for the mountains.
