I wanted a beanie for winter running and I have tried several others, and this one is by far the best. It is big enough for my big head and fits over my ears with ear buds in. It is incredibly soft and comfy. It has been plenty warm in weather 20 degrees or above; if I have to run in under 20 degree weather I add my balaclava underneath. It is a bit pricey compared to other hats I've bought, but I think it's well worth it for such a perfect hat from an American small company. I hope this hat holds up and lasts a long time, and if it does, I may have to buy it in other colors as well.

Like many men my age, I am a little thin up top, but this hat always keeps me warm. It has really come in handy with this recent cold snap. Another great feature is how quickly it dries/breaths. I was out for a short hike in the snow yesterday and even though the flakes were melting when they hit me, my hat stayed dry and warm. Great job Burgeon!
Recently purchased this beanie and have worn it running 3x in temps in the 20’s. I have a big head and I can pull this comfortably over my ears. Very soft, would love it in every color.

I bought two in store this week, one for me and one for my husband. We are obsessed! Funny to say over a hat, but I wear a beanie all winter, inside and outside, and this is the best fitting, softest yet warm hat I own now. It's so lightweight yet warm that it's going to be my go-to backpacking hat as well. Fit is excellent (not one of those short ones that don't cover ears) and looks great. Can't wait for more colors, I'll be stalking their site!

Recently purchased another Power Stretch Fleece hat. The new ones are a thicker material than the one I bought last year. Like the first run of these they fit snug on my head and are very comfortable. I like the thicker material for the colder days out on the trails.
Nice comfy hat. Good warmth but still comfortable when working hard, and some wind protection. The material and seaming lets it easily stretch to fit without putting a tight squeeze on. My new standard hat.
This hat is so warm, yet not bulky at all. It comes down plenty far enough over my ears and the back of my head, and it is so, so warm considering how thin it is.
