Named the overall best hiking shirt by Field and Stream in 2021, 2023, and 2024, the Flume is a blend of TENCEL™ (made from trees!), polyester, and spandex.  TENCEL™ is naturally wicking, naturally odor-resistant, thermo-regulating, and crazy comfortable. 

A lighter-weight version of our popular Flume base layer in a short-sleeved Tech T-Shirt.  TENCEL™ provides outstanding comfort, wicking, odor resistance, and thermo regulation while the polyester ensures excellent durability.  Spandex provides 4-way stretch so your shirt moves with you, not against you.

Fabric: Texollini (Long Beach, CA), 75% Polyester, 19% TENCEL™, 6% Spandex.  Twilight Blue is 75% recycled polyester, 19% Tencel, and 6% Spandex.

Care:  Machine wash cold with like colors, gentle cycle.  Hang or lie flat to dry.
Sustainability

Sustainability:
The Flume T-Shirt is milled in Long Beach, CA and handsewn in Gorham, NH.  US domestic production ensures compliance with high environmental standards, a cleaner electrical grid (California is approximately 50% renewables, NH 24%), more efficient transportation infrastructure, as well as reducing the overall distance (and carbon footprint required) to move through a global supply chain.  In addition, the product is 19% TENCEL™, a natural fiber, and the most recent production features recycled polyester.

Worker Standards: The Flume T-Shirt is handstitched by the Burgeon production team in Gorham, New Hampshire.  Burgeon follows all federal, state, and local laws and regulations that protect our employees (and the environment).  Burgeon production team members also enjoy flexible working hours, paid time off (vacation, sick, safe), and all ten federal holidays.  Burgeon covers 100% of healthcare premiums for all employees who average 30+ hours per week.  All Burgeon production team members are eligible for a monthly bonus based on our sales.  5% of the sales of the Flume t-shirt go directly into this bonus pool.
5% for our Community and Environment

5% of the purchase price of this product will benefit our community and environmental efforts.  These efforts include trail maintenance, working with local non-profits and organizations, as well as our carbon mitigation efforts.

We maintain three (Old Bridle Path, Pine Link, Willey Range) trails in the White Mountains in partnership with the Appalachian Mountain Club. In the past year, we have also donated time, resources, and money to organizations such as New England Disabled Sports, Pemi Search and Rescue, Lakes Region Search and Rescue, the Linwood Rotary, Linwood Ambulance, as well as local community centers in Lincoln, Franconia, and Lisbon, NH.

Shipping on orders $100+ is free for continental US addresses. For orders less than $100 or to non-continental US locations, we charge $7.50 for shipping.

For non-US orders, shipping is calculated at checkout. All International packages are shipped via USPS. Deliveries times will vary depending on destination. Please note that you may be liable for duties on the shipment (varies by country).

Picked one up in the store and like it so much I wore it home - then washed it that night and wore it the next day! It was so lightweight and comfortable. Have already added another color to my collection. It does a great job on the trails (wicks really well) and is also great as an every day t-shirt. Love it! Bravo Burgeon!
